port: 443
authentication method: kerberos

Were you following some spec for this? (Normally wouldn't have to ask, but I thought Nina does have some protocol docs...)

No, but I was discussing it with @Animadoria who wrote the kerberos support for Nina as the kerberbos stuff at least isn't documented on nina's wiki and I couldn't find anything after a quick search.

Also @mk6i mentioned that they were confused about the invalid password checking too.

But both of these discussions happened in discord dms.

While nina.chat's aim service is gone Retro AIM Server is still around and I think they support Kerberos logins.

I'll get something stood and and test against it since it does look like it supports Kerberos. mk6i/open-oscar-server@6cfd7e3
