These updates are not noise to me at all. If the volume bothers you, the recipient should handle it with filters rather than reducing the update frequency. I strongly disagree with this change, but I'll leave the final decision to you as the maintainer. |

I think dependabot updates cause a lot of noise (in commits and in emails/notifications), so monthly seems a good alternative to reduce noise.
