Previously, candidates defaulted to 5 for all non-strict match modes. Now it only defaults to 5 when the match mode is specifically "enhanced" and maxCandidates is 0 or undefined. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
