I am Miguel and I have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering by the University of Zaragoza, with more than 5 years of experience working with data in the academic research.

The main goal of my Ph.D. thesis was the development of strategies that could face tumoral growth, using nanomaterials with catalytic activities to this end. We also deepened in the study of their specific delivery to the tumoral mass.

Due to this, I gained broad experience cleaning, analyzing and visualizing complex datasets, aiming to generate relevant insights to drive forward several research projects. To this end, I developed strong expertise using Excel and GraphPad Prism

I currently possess the IBM Data Science Professional Certificate by IBM and Coursera, where I deepened into SQL language and essential Python libraries, including NumPy, Pandas, Seaborn, Matplotlib or Scikit-learn.

At this moment, I am training my skills in Phtyon, PowerBI and SQL with relevant, real-world data, aiming to shift my career towards a role in Data/Bussiness Analysis.

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300): Currently implementing my domain with PowerBI to obtain the Microsoft PL-300 certification.
• Diabetes State Burden Toolkit: Analysis of the diabetes mortality statistics in the different states of the US (HealthData.gov)
• CDC BRFSS dataset: Analysis of the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (US CDC) to analyze the influence of lifestyle factors in cardiovascular disease risk.
• Hospital Readmissions (CMS): Exploratoyr Data Analysis and Machine Learning to determine which factors have a higher weight for hospital readmissions prediction.
