From Ming to Chip is an interactive data-driven installation that transforms Shenzhen’s GDP growth (1990–2013) into a kinetic 3D printed sculpture. The project explores how abstract economic transformation can be translated into tangible experience. GDP values were encoded into geometric surface of a digitally fabricated Ming-inspired vase.
