Fixes #84

Expands on the list of plugins and adds information about the criteria for inclusion.

Adds some comments about criteria for inclusion, splits listing into two sections, and adds a couple additional tools.

Some text addjustmenst and I'm not sure about the bold text Criteria:
IMO, this can be left out to make the text more readable and friendly.


There are many plugins available for WordPress that can help support accessibility. These tools work in many ways. Some are website features built in a way that's specifically designed for accessibility, others help you create accessible content, and others help ensure that other plugins are more accessible.

The plugin:

  • has a free level of service that doesn't require registration and provides enough functionality to be testable by the WordPress Accessibility Team.
  • is not be primarily dedicated to accessibility testing. Testing plugins are listed in WordPress plugins for accessibility testing.
  • doesn't provide overlay functionality that cannot be fully disabled.
  • has an accessible admin interface.
  • is updated within the last year.


**Criteria:** Plugins that improve the accessibility of a specific theme or plugin.
