Sigh. My changes from #2354 broke the frontend. I was thinking to myself "I wonder if JS can handle the cyclic dependency", but it worked locally. And then broke in prod, because Parcel was showing me stale data again :/ We should really migrate to Vite or something one day, Parcel sucks.
